TENNIS LESSONS FOR ALL PLAYERS
USPTA Teaching Professional John Sutter is an independent contractor providing tennis instruction on court one at Maxwell Farms Regional Park Tennis. John has a one-year renewable agreement with SVTA to provide individual and group lessons, specialized clinics for kids, beginners and experienced players, and summer programs for youth. Scholarships and tennis equipment is available for kids who need assistance.
As an independent contractor, the Pro sets his own hourly rates and pays a court use fee to SVTA. The Pro maintains current insurance and is USTA Safe Play certified.

As a former ATP player ranked as high as 523 in the world, John knows what it takes to win, and has coached Division 1 men attending Cal Berkeley and UCSF, developed some of the best USTA women’s teams in NorCal, and transformed under-performing students who went on to play at the highest levels of tennis in Northern California. John has also developed a program for elite ITF and nationally ranked juniors as a traveling tournament coach.
