SVTA NEWS, Projects and events

With the support of our tennis community and partners, SVTA has been working hard to upgrade the Maxwell Farms Regional Park Tennis Courts.
In recent years the Association has raised funds to complete the following projects:
- Replace courts one, two and three with an advanced slip-sheet system
technology that provides lasting durability and surface cushioning.
- Repair and paint the two on-site storage sheds.
- Build a sitting and viewing area for players and visitors to enjoy matches
lessons, and social games.
- Install a windscreen on court 3.
- Install a permanent divider between teaching court 1 and court 2.
- Dedicate court five to four temporary pickleball courts.
- Upgrade nets, benches and other on-court equipment.
